Under the Awning is a search service that displays products and services created by or sold by small companies and home based businesses. It is designed to help small businesses market their items easily, under one general web site.

Become a vendor and receive:

• It's free* to sign up as a vendor
• Vendors can enter up to 25 products or services - complete with a thumbnail image, description and keywords - into our group search at no cost*.
• All products can be assigned to up to three different categories
• Receive search statistics for every product, including the number of times each item was clicked, as well as the keywords, categories or locations used in the search to find the items. Perfect to help track what visitors are looking for!
• Site visitors can add positive testimonials; vendors control whether those are activated, so all reviews will remain positive.
• Site visitors can directly request items by typing a request; vendors can review and answer any of those requests directly, for more personalized sale experiences.
• Vendors can add a business-to-business coupon, which only other vendors see - it's a perfect solution for wholesalers or companies who want to pull larger corporate accounts.
• Featured items (purchased for an additional cost) are a great way for companies to highlight best selling items on the side of the site and within the search results.
• The entire site will be advertised as a whole - it's a great way for small companies to get free advertising for their items.
• Private forum - for vendors only! - allow companies to talk shop without the public viewing their comments.
• An opt-in (optional) newsletter displays featured companies, search trends and business tips.

* There is no cost to become an Under the Awning vendor. However, you must be invited by another existing vendor, for quality control purposes.

• It's free* to sign up as a member
• Members can add any products to their own global wish list, which can be private (only members can see it) or public (members can use it as a gift registry for friends and family)
• Members can request any product or service from vendors. All vendors can reply to that request, without displaying your email address.
• View the most popular items, as well as featured items
• An opt-in, optional newsletter will be delivered, showcasing popular items, special offers and search trends.

Privacy Policy: We will never contact any vendor or member for any sales purposes unless that individual has directly requested to be contacted via our newsletter. Information will never be sold or offered to third parties. All contacts between vendors and members are handled via the site, so vendors will not have access to any member's contact information.
