DESCRIPTIONS—Kiwano is a delicious fruit that combines flavors of kiwi, lime, cucumber, and banana. This landrace from Pretoria, South Africa, pumps out pounds in Midwest rainfed systems. A single fruit goes for $6 at the grocery store. Midwest grown kiwano time. This is a bit sweeter than the Zimbabwean Landrace. A landrace is a traditional variety with deep cultural roots that is often dynamic, diverse, and adapted to specific environmental conditions.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS—Direct seeded. After the last frost, sow two seeds 1" deep every 36" in rows 48" apart.
