DESCRIPTION—This is a diverse variety of lettuce from Joseph Lofthouse in Paradise, Utah. The photo shows fairly uniform plants, but there are several other forms and some red pigmented plants in the mix. This one is a joy to watch grow and provides a surprise for your plate.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS—Direct seeded. Seeds can germinate in soils between 40F and 75F. Sow three seeds 1/8" deep every 2" in rows 12" apart. Thin to one plant every 12". For successive harvesting, sow seeds every 10-14 days.
